| There's something for everyone.
The trails are diverse in nature.
From single track trails and old two track roads that weave in and out of mature "open" Fir forests,
to relatively "tight" stands of Spruce and Pine. Some open grassy sections and
the odd "softer" stretch.
Most of the established routes are quite "groovy" with a nice pace (not real slow or way to fast).
All levels of ability are covered. When there's "expert terrain", there is always an "intermediate route" around all the tough obstacles. Sounds too good to be true? That's why we live and ride here! The turn out is usually around 100 riders. |

Saturday May 31st Registration starts around 10:00 am Adults - $20.00 Kids under 16 - $15.00 Includes free lunch for all participants (what a deal!) The Dirty Knobby Riding Clinic starts around 11:00 am Some of the areas covered are; mental, physical, bike prep, safety and riding gear. Learn how to tackle hills, log crossings, roots, rocks and ruts. All levels of riders will enjoy helpful hints and awesome demonstrations. Following the clinics is the legendary Dirty Knobby Poker Run! Four levels of loops cover from Peewee's to Masters. A classic ride around well marked trails having fun, roosting at your own pace with your buddies all while having a good crack at winning some great prizes. Saturday Night is the Awards Banquet hosted at the Overlander Convention Hall Tickets: Adults $12.00 Kids under 16 $8.00 The Doors open at 6:00 pm Dinner at 7:00 There will be refreshments for "all ages", and loads of extra door prizes. Enjoy the great food, a few cold ones and comradeship of riders you haven't seen for awhile. The kids will be indulging in videos and PS-2 their own video game corner! The busiest bar in town is upstairs from the convention hall... so if you're looking for a little night life you don't have far to go. |
